Prof. Anna Scaglione
Associate Professor Anna Scaglione received her "Laurea" and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Rome "La Sapienza", Rome, Italy in 1995 and 1999 respectively. She received the IEEE Signal Processing Transactions Best Paper Award in 2000, the NSF Career Award in 2002, and was co-recipient of the Ellersick Best Paper Award (MILCOM 2005) and the 2005 Best paper for Young Authors of the Taiwan IEEE Comsoc/Information theory section.
   
Dr. Tuncer Can Aysal
Dr. Tuncer Can Aysal is a post-doctoral research associate. He received his Ph.D. degree from University of Delaware in February 2007 and his B.S. degree from Istanbul Technical University in 2003. His recent research focuses on consensus algorithms, distributed signal processing, statistical signal processing, wireless sensor networks and centralized/decentralized estimation/detection.
   
Shrut Kirti
Shrut Kirti is a third year graduate student. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering in May 2005.
His main interests are statistical signal processing, information theory, and distributed computing in sensor networks.

Roberto Pagliari will be joining the group by March 15 2007.
   
Matthew Sharp
Matthew Sharp is a third year graduate student. He received his B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from The George Washington University in 2003 and his M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Bucknell University in 2005.
His main interests lie in statistical signal processing and wireless communications, specifically HF radio communications.
   
Tae Eung Sung
Tae Eung Sung is a fourth year graduate student. He received the B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea, in 2002 and the M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, Austin, TX, in 2004. Since 2005, he has been a member of the Communication Research in Signal Processing group under the supervision of Prof. Anna Scaglione.
His research interests are cooperative transmission techniques (with MIMO OFDM space-time coding) in large sensor networks.
   
Mehmet Ercan Yildiz
Ercan Yildiz is a third year graduate student. He received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics from University of Wisconsin-Madison in May 2005.
His current interests are consensus algorithms, statistical signal processing, information theory, statistical learning theory.
